Community Pop Ups at Sunridge Mall Clinic Help Connect Patients to Support

Visitors to our Sunridge Mall Clinic (SMC) may have noticed a new addition to the waiting area: community pop‑ups designed to connect patients with essential local supports. One of the newest partners, the Women’s Centre of Calgary, is offering on‑site sessions to help people access resources and services they may not be aware of.

These drop‑ins make it easier for patients to learn about programs related to basic needs, legal and tax support, peer navigation, and community wellbeing. Mosaic’s Community Partnerships & Engagement team will continue welcoming local organizations to SMC throughout the year, helping patients better connect with the services they need.

About the Women’s Centre of Calgary

The Women’s Centre of Calgary provides free, low-barrier, trauma-informed support to women and gender-diverse individuals. Their programs and services create a safe, inclusive, and accessible space  for community connection and support.

Some services include: tax and legal services (appointment required), basic needs assistance (gift cards, personal care items, bus and event tickets etc.), workshops and learning opportunities, including ESL, digital literacy classes, and an after-school girls’ program.
