Sunridge Mall Clinic

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Friday, June 13  to commemorate the opening of Mosaic PCN’s new Sunridge Mall Clinic! We welcomed guests to celebrate and explore the newly designed, patient-centered facility that integrates our ACCESS Clinic, after-hours care, and multidisciplinary teams under one roof, located in the northwest corner of Sunridge Mall.

Guests had the opportunity to enjoy:

  • Improved accessibility, thanks to our new clinic location, conveniently situated along the C-train line, with free parking and easy mall access.
  • A closeup of our clinic’s comprehensive care made possible through the consolidation of Mosaic’s six clinics into one.
  • Our vision for Sunridge Mall Clinic, which was shaped through meaningful partnerships with our dedicated staff, patient advisory group, and community partners, ensuring every voice was heard in creating this collaborative space.

Thank you to our sponsors!

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to EllisDon, Studio Presber, Price-Langevin, and Sunridge Mall for helping bring our open house to life! Their generous support enabled us to showcase our clinic, share our vision with all who attended, and create an unforgettable experience. These sponsors share our commitment to fostering connections and building community together. Thank you for helping us create lasting memories at our new clinic!

Lobby

Step into our lobby where you will be welcomed by 19,500 square feet of space and discover our community-centered design inspired by the Calgary Bow River’s flow and colour scheme to create a unified space focused on better access, and enhanced collaboration. Our lobby also features a ‘welcome wall’ showcasing 24 languages, each personally written by our staff, reflecting the languages they speak. Clear signs and visuals throughout the space help reduce language barriers and make it easier for everyone to find their way with confidence. In the coming months, we plan to introduce an additional wall with on our lobby space that will highlight the languages our patients speak, further celebrating the diversity of our community.

From the moment you enter, you’ll experience a clinic designed to bring our community together while celebrating Calgary’s diverse needs.

ACCESS Clinic

Our ACCESS Clinic provides semi-urgent episodic care with increased access to primary care providers during the weekends, evenings, and holidays. This serves as an extension of your medical home with a focus on inclusive, patient-centered care and continuity that reduces the burden on the acute care system. The ACCESS Clinic is also home to our “Integrated Care Optimal Navigation” (ICON) program – an initiative that improves access to primary care by offering guidance, support, and a pathway to a medical home.

Through our team-based approach, the ACCESS Clinic has provided 9,331 patient visits, with our dedicated team of 13 contract physicians and four  nurse practitioners completing 9,241 visits. As we continue to evolve and meet the needs of our community, we are actively recruiting another 20 providers to ensure accessible, quality healthcare is always within reach when our regular clinic is closed.

Mental Health Therapists, Social Work & Community Health Navigator Programs

Sunridge Mall Clinic’s integrated mental health and social support programs provide personalized care beyond traditional medical treatment. The mental health therapist program offers short-term, goal-oriented counseling for adults facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, stress management, and grief or loss. Complementing this clinical support, the social work program connects patients with community resources, expert referrals, and builds essential life skills. It also offers support with things like financial pressures, resettlement or immigration, and medication affordability.

Our community health navigator program bridges the gap between clinical care and community support by helping patients overcome barriers to accessing health services, encouraging healthy habits, and  providing culturally sensitive support to enhance overall well-being.

Mall Entry to ACCESS Clinic

This thoughtfully designed entrance features distinct colour-coded sections and clear visual cues to help patients find their way with confidence. Advanced HALO smart sensors are placed throughout private, camera-free areas, to support safety, security, and environmental monitoring while respecting the privacy of staff and patients.

The entry space prioritizes comfort with ribbed felt walls that add visual depth and absorb sound for a quieter and more relaxed environment while you wait. The patient waiting area also includes conveniently placed, all gender accessible washrooms and a quiet room – a multipurpose room designed to support patient calm and dignity. The overall design flow and colour scheme embody the natural characteristics of the Bow River, creating a welcoming and calming entry.

Kinesiologist and Clinical Pharmacist Programs

Achieving wellness means supporting both physical activity and medication management. Our kinesiologists help patients improve movement, reduce pain, and prevent chronic disease with safe, personalized exercise plans. Through education and support for pain or mobility challenges, they help set realistic physical activity goals while addressing barriers to movement and long-term health.

Our clinical pharmacists provide expert support with medications and chronic pain management, helping patients stay on track with treatment. Services include full medication reviews, including natural health products, tobacco cessation support, and diabetes management. They also manage prescriptions and offer advice on cost-effective treatment options, creating a medication strategy that supports your overall health.

Staff Area

The staff area at Sunridge Mall Clinic creates both a sanctuary and shared space where healthcare professionals can connect, rest, and recharge. Our staff area features lockers and drop-down desks for flexible work, with on-site IT and facilities teams for immediate support.

The modern open concept plan encourages natural collaboration and breaks down communication barriers. Thoughtfully designed shared spaces highlight our multidisciplinary programs and services and support teamwork and discussion. Every design element was purposely chosen to create  a vibrant work environment, strengthen connections, support daily routines, and ultimately  enhance patient care.

Registered Nurse and Registered Dietitian Programs

Sunridge Mall Clinic’s registered nurses support patients with chronic disease and weight management, focusing on nutrition, mental health, stress management and sleep quality. Through coaching, education, and health navigation, our nurses offer expert referrals, help set realistic goals, and provide additional assessments to support holistic health and wellness.

Our registered dietitians deliver personalized education on healthy eating based on each patient’s specific needs. They provide nutrition advice, counselling, and meal planning to support personal goals and improve overall health outcomes. Our dietitians also help with specific dietary restrictions and use nutrition strategies to manage or prevent chronic diseases.
