In Mosaic’s Managing Anxiety workshop, understand the basics of anxiety, build coping skills, and learn to change negative thinking into positive thinking.

This workshop is facilitated by registered health professionals from the Mosaic PCN mental health and social work team. 

Sessions are two hours and are offered weekly for four weeks.  This is an open group, meaning you can complete the sessions all at once, or jump in at any point in the cycle.    

Who is Managing Anxiety For?

This workshop is for adults aged 18 and older who want to better understand the basics of anxiety and their body’s response to anxiety. You will develop new techniques and skills for preventing and managing problematic anxiety symptoms. This class offers a blend of teaching and activities that invite you to reflect and participate in a safe and encouraging environment.

This is an open group workshop, participants have the choice to attend, one, some or all and will still benefit.

If you are experiencing severe depression, anxiety, or suicidal thoughts, this workshop is not recommended.  The Distress Centre offers 24-hour help by calling 403.266.4357.
