Partnership with the Calgary Food Bank

Last year, one of our Mosaic employees with a personal passion for supporting the Calgary Food Bank as a volunteer, brought forward a request to bring her skills as a nutritionist to them on a more permanent basis. After presenting a rigorous and thoughtful analysis of the benefits to having a nutritionist onsite at a local foodbank, Mikala’s position was amended to include one day per week onsite at the Calgary Food Bank. Mikala now works to analyze the nutritional content of hampers as well as advising on specialty hampers to address specific health needs. We are so proud to have this partnership in place and to have team members like Mikala living out our vision of ‘Better Health for All’!
